Mussoorie
Institute of Technology Management ITM Mussoorie previously called Defebce Institute of Work Study was established on 26th February 1962 on the behest of the then Defence Minister Mr Krishna Menon. The institute has been a premiere organisation for teaching Work Study and Technology Management to DRDO scientist and officers of the three armed forces . 
The Diamond jubilee was celebrated by the Institute few days back with the chief guest on the occasion being Lieutenant General AK Bhatt PVSM, UYSM AVSM, SM ,VSM (retired) presently Director General of Indian Space Association. On the occasion of the celebrations the current Director, Mr S A katti, Senior scientist G and director IITM welcome chief guest and complimented all members in staff for the sterling performance . As part of celebrations a photographic competition was organised, as also prices were given for various sports activities. The Chief Guest also felicitated various employees. 
He also complemented the ITM director and the entire staff for the excellent work done by them in ensuring that ITM continuous as a premium Institute of DRDO. He also recounted his days in Mussoorie as a school boy in Hampton Court and St George’s College. He also o foundly talked of his close Association with ITM as his father honorary Captain SP Bhatt had worked in the Institute for a decade from 1974 to 1984.
