Mussoorie
Tenth LO Edwards Memorial Choir Festival 2024 was organised at Wynberg-Allen School, Mussoorie. A number of schools from Dehradun and Mussoorie participated in the festival. The festival is organized every year, in the memory of L O Edwards, a former school principal and headmaster in eighties. He was much loved and respected by his students, staff and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity of spirit. He was known for his dedication and services.
Besides the host school, the other schools participated in the festival included-Hebron Elementary School, Woodstock School from Mussoorie and Carman School, Kasiga School and Khrist Jyoti Academy from Dehradun.
The festival started with Carman school presenting their item ‘My Light House’, followed by Kasiga school presenting ‘Alone, something just like this’.
While Hebron Elementary School, presented “Thank You Lord’, Woodstock school ‘A Million Dreams”, the choir from Krist Jyoti Academy Dehradun presented ‘Because He Lives’. Lastly the host Wynberg-Allen Senior School choir presented ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Is He Worthy’. The performances were greatly appreciated by the audience.
Every performance was unique and in his address Principal Mr. L. Tindale thanked all the participating schools for displaying their talents, making the effort to attend this event in which the schools do not compete for any prizes.
